WHITE CAP - The Effects paints have been developed to create realistic looking effects to painted miniatures. Effects paints are usually the last you will paint onto a miniature as some of them are glossy (Blood, Slime and Wet Mud for instance). There are 9 Effects paints also covering Mixing Mediums & Varnishes.

Anti-Shine Matt Varnish

Very matt acrylic water based varnish. Give one or two thin layers. Shake well before use.

Brush-On Primer

This Effects Warpaints is a grey surface primer to be used as an alternative to a Colour Primer spray. Apply a thin layer with a large brush like the Wargaming: Monster Brush.

Gloss Varnish

This EFFECTS Warpaint is a transparent gloss varnish. Designed to go on top of your finished model in areas you want to have a gloss shine; like an open mouth, a slimy tentacle or a wet tongue.

Quickshade Wash Mixing Medium

Special EFFECTS Warpaint. Quickshade Wash Mixing Medium is a transparent resin base designed to dilute your regular Quickshade Washes without changing the flow and viscosity. By adding Quickshade Wash Mixing Medium you can make your Wash more translucent and less pigmented.

Warpaints Mixing Medium

Special EFFECTS Warpaint. Mixing Medium is a transparent resin base designed to thin or dilute your regular Warpaint without changing the flow and viscosity of the Acrylic or Metallic Warpaint. Perfect when building up highlights for blending layers. Add a little at a time untill you're happy with the effect.

Glistening Blood

An Effects Warpaints with special gloss formulation. The blood effect is very gloss and lifelike – this is what any self-respecting zombie should be covered in. (TIP: add dots of Crusted Sore for a real lifelike blood imitation on your models).
Great for all models requiring blood on weapons, spatters on shields or armour or similar.

Disgusting Slime

An Effects Warpaints with special gloss formulation. The greenish slime effect can add a gloss and wet look to your miniature. Use it after matt varnish and the gloss part will stand out dramatically.

Wet Mud

An Effects Warpaints with special gloss formulation. The brown mud effect is designed to represent wet mud - perfect for a final touch around the feet of the miniatures or on tank tracks.

An Effects Warpaints with a very matt formulation. Dry rust is a orangy-brown paint design for painting on areas representing old rust. Use the stippling technique with an old brush or a drybrush and add a little Dry Rust on top of your metallics.
