This week we have added a wider range of Board Games to our shelves! This is the first of many expansions as we tried to carry a wider range of products and support them with upcoming board game nights! Stop into either location today to pick up a new board game for the weekend!
Charity RTT For the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey 10/23/2021
Thank you so much Mythicos Community! We had a full house for the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey Charity RTT last week! I wanted to personally thank everyone who came out today to play, bought raffle tickets, and to everyone who gave their support and donated their time to help make today so successful. 10.09.2021 - The Return of the Jersey Devil!
Calling all Painters! The Jersey Devil 2021 is right around the corner! This year it will be located at the Mahwah Location on 12/11/2021! We have our Judges locked in, and the categories have been decided! Single Figure Unit/Squad Monster/Vehicle/Large Model Bust Diorama Armies on Display Green Horn Mythic Americas Best in Show (Judges Pick) Our Judges panel for this year: John Margiotta volunteering as the head judge, with Amanda Kopet, Timothy Trentacoste, Christopher Lee, and Martin Orlando as the supporting judges. All information will be on our website by Monday, and tickets are available now. For ease the Entry Fee is $5.00 per submission, at check out just put your name and a quick description of what you are submitting so your name can be attached to your submission. We have some cool door prizes for everyone who submits as well as the return of the Jersey Devil Trophy! In addition all entries will be photographed and put into the new Jersey Devil Archive! 9.16.2021 Studio Update
We started our bolt action slow grow league last week and are looking forward to next Wednesday 9.22.2021 for some more 500 point games! League rules can be found on our new website HERE. We also had a great turn out for Battle-tech at our Randolph location on Saturday 9.18.2021 and a really casual fun Lord of the Rings event in Mahwah. Coming up this week, we have more Bolt Action action on Wednesday 9.22 and this coming weekend we have the Warhammer 40k RTT at Randolph! In Mahwah we have our "Intro to Painting Class": (Tickets and what to expect.) as well as the Learn to Play/Demo and Open play for Marvel Crisis Protocol! We have a store copy of the game ready to go and staff on hand to teach new players! On Sunday 9.19 in Mahwah we also have a narrative and open play day for the new Kill Teams! 9.12.2021 Studio Update: New Mythic Team Leagues, Slow Grow and Events Calendar
Mythicos Studio Mahwah had its first Age of Sigmar tournament since 3.0 dropped and congratulations to everyone who placed! 18 players attended and we are very excited to host Octocon in only a few short weeks. (10/02 & 10/3) We launched the new Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar Team tournament leagues as well as the Bolt Action slow grow league. All three of these leagues will be tracked and updated on our new website https://www.mythic-league.com/ The new Mythicos Team Leagues for both Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar are leagues made up of teams of 3 to 5 players that will compete across multiple tournament dates for glory! Speaking of glory, the top teams from both leagues will have their banner displayed in the stores! These banners will be custom made with the team logo and displayed in the stores permanently granting eternal glory to the winners. We also are starting the Mythicos Bolt Action Slow Grow League this week! Wednesdays at Mahwah we have open play for bolt action, but any other night you can come into either store to play! (just call ahead to confirm that there is table space if another event is running when you want to come in.) Just like the 40k and Age of Sigmar leagues we will track players wins, losses and memorable moments on our new Mythic League website. Warhammer 40k Grand Tournament 8/28 and 8/29, Live Stream Battle Reports and Youtube Updates
This weekend we will be holding our Warhammer 40k Grand Tournament at the Mahwah Location. We are also going to be live streaming the whole event on Twitch! So if you can't make it out for the grand tournament you'll be able to watch as it happens, or catch up in the archive or on our youtube channel. We plan on having battle reports released regularly for multiple game systems including; Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, Song of Ice and Fire, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Kill Teams 3.0, Bolt Action, Middle-Earth SBG, board games, Star Wars Legion and X-Wing and of course, Mythic America battle reports!
